The simple act of buying groceries can be challenging and stressful for individuals and families living paycheck-to-paycheck. United Way of Western Connecticut went to a local PriceRite grocery store to surprise shoppers with a random act of kindness and raise awareness around hard-working individuals and families we call ALICE: Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed.
