Being a textile and fashion designer I would say she did a pretty good job in cutting and sewing with patterns. She did the math and that's brilliant I would have cut the net fabric in bias and made multiple pieces so it flows and avoids the awkward cut, and instead of real flowers I would have chosen embroidery patches or something in embellishment that would have practicality and layer it under the mesh. But Kudos to her and new learning.!

As a fashion designer I think you did good with your knowledge! I saw someone already commented on cutting the mesh on the bias and that's a great idea. To give your look a more professional finish try adding a waistband to your skirt also you can always add darts to make the top fit better. Hope this helps for your futur projects! love your content 💕

Cute! But I would prefer the dress in nude or peachy color and the flowers put under the seethru fabric to insure them from damage🙏🏻💖

Hi kelsey I'm a fashion students.. maybe a little tips for you when you try to cut the fabric try to just keep it flat to the table or floor and just put your hand on top the fabrics it's easier than you hold the fabric
