It got to the point where I didn't want to turn my lights on at night and just use a flashlight so I could hide from him. The weird thing is that, he's married and has a kid. We went to the same school in high school and when i found out that both his brothers passed away at the same time, I sent him a message to say my condolences. I regret sending that message.

Yes, he needs help. Rubi also needs help now, specifically because of him. Pardon those of us who lack empathy for a terminally online creep who is stalking and implicitly threatening a sex worker. Plenty of rapists and murderers are mentally ill. Doesn't make them any less evil. Not all mental health issues exist in a bubble. He has the money to get help. It's not like he has something completely uncontrollable like schizophrenia. He's an addict, and he chooses to feed his addiction constantly despite the effect it has on others. But the thing is, most addicts only hurt themselves physically, and hurt those around them emotionally/financially. This guy is addicted to stalking, an act that harms other people and puts their life in danger. "Omg I'm so rich and no one will fuck me, let me dry my tears with some bitcoin and then go back to screeching in this woman's DMs" doesn't elicit much sympathy. Boo-fucking-hoo.

Imagine if she had no receipts of his behavior and he found her again after spiraling over being ignored/receiving a fake number or reacting to her saying no. She didn’t bring it on herself. @@doubleRprodutionsI’ve been in that position. I was confronted by someone who had been stalking me and the only thing that you want to do to get out of that situation is be nice. You don’t let anything on because the fear of it blowing up in your face is terrifying. If they ask you for something you know you’ve got one, maybe two, attempts to deflect it before you’re more or less forced into submission. It doesn’t matter who you are, fear is fear and being approached by someone that you are aware is stalking you is truly awful. There are no words effective enough to describe it. She definitely did what she thought she could to safely get out of that situation, even if it came at a cost.
