I can remember 20 years ago when I was in high school we just cut the shifter rod down to shorten our shifts. These newer aftermarket parts make it so much easier and better.

Finally a good review! I have an 09 civic si that is currently in storage for the winter. Other than a reflash it nothing else done to it before i stored it. But now i have got a few parts for it to throw on when i take it out of storage. I have a full race 3in exhaust, plm v1 header, hybrid racing cold air intake, hondata flashpro, a set of 07 tsx cams, tb spacer, j35 tb, pqy fuel rail and 410cc rdx injectors. I've got a set of evo 8 wheels that are 17x8+35 to go on as well. I'd like to get this shifter because i think this is the next mod i should do besides coilovers. It would add the missing touch to the whole setup and make my stock interior feel a bit less stock. Great content i like everything you do keep up the good work!!

Dope!! 09 fa5, bone stock now, Klm sidewinder, precision 6266, prl intercooler, deatswerks pump and injectors, hondata, fx400 clutch and a few other small things all sitting in the corner. Great Video man! Current setup on my FA5 is full bolt on ( HR 3.5 CAI, Skunk2 alpha header, Full-Race 3" exhaust) alongside a fully ported RBC manifold paired to a J37 Throttle body. DW 300c fuel pump and Grams 1000cc Injectors handle fuel delivery. Running KTuned K2 coils (14K F/ 12K R) and progress 24mm rear swaybar to take care of cornering. Running 17x9 +30ET ES2s wrapped with 235/40R17 Zestino Gredge tires. She handles like a dream!!

I have an 07 Si sedan(6k$), pretty much bone stock, front coilovers, stock rears, found some nice wheels and sticky ass pirellis, lowering springs, intake and exhaust, im probably gonna end up swapping the hot air shortram out for something else, i cant look at it rn but the short ram sits twords the firewall and picks up air back there, swapping that out for sure, just picked up a 3 way adjustable unit and all the fixins for it, the bushing and centering spring, probably gonna get new cooling stuff for it, oil cooler and catch can setup, im not rly looking for big power, im just tryna build her to be bullet proof fun daily driver

My car is a little tough getting into third gear sometimes. Then i seen in your video you will be giving that one away. Down side is i do not have any social media's I only have youtube. Cool video bro! I have a 8th gen si habanero red coup and it has a k24 dyno tuned at 230hp plm headers connected to a skunk2 exhaust, and a ktuned short ram intake.

KZfaq keeps deleting my comments for some reason, but love the 8th gen content. I am currently running an 2011 Civic SI Coupe as my daily. Near stock besides wheels and Acuity shifter bushings. The shirt shifter would go towards this build.

Hey bro. I installed the acuity shifter, well I attempted. But I’m having issues with the cables hitting the bracket. I must mention they are the hybrid racing cables, but I’m just wondering if they’re even compatible? I cant get it to align with the screw holes or even sit. But that’s because the right hand cable hits the bracket the shifter sits on.

Hey nice video sir but you got your info wrong on how the shift works the longer you make the shifter knob rod it's going feel more like stock the shorter you make the rod it will be shorter at the shift the longer the adjustment point is on the shift cable the shorter your shift is going to be not the other way around
