I got a 1987 Integra, red, in 1996. I LOVED that car, despite the rust (I bough it in Michigan). I drove it until 2001, at which point it rattled when going above 65mph. I had it serviced by an Honda expert even though it killed my credit card debt. I hope the new 2023 model lives up to the tradition.

This looks exactly like the red 1987 Integra LS I owned, except that I replaced the factory stereo with an Alpine. It was zippy and fun to drive. I loved that little car and only sold it because I got a promotion and a company car came with it. Thanks for the memories.

Used to drive a 1987 Acura Integra. Mine was red also. It was a great little car. Someone slammed into the back of me one day and totaled it for me. All these years later and I still drive Acura products. Currently drive a 2010 Acura TSX V6 Tech. My Integra was the first Acura I ever owned.

Bought an '87 RS used in 1990. It was a Florida car so the interior was sun baked . The car hadn't been well maintained by the original owner. Lost oil pressure while driving 700 miles back to work on the morning of New Years Eve 1993. 20 below zero in SE Montana. Got towed 170 miles to the nearest Honda dealer (as far as i know there were no Acura dealers in Montana then). Not worth getting a replacement engine so i bought a new Civic DX hatch which i kept for 24 years. before giving to a friend a couple of years ago.

I still currently and actively drive mine! I love it! The idle is the only thing thats giving me problems but other than that! I love it!!

Sorry, I just saw that I had some replies to my comment, so an update regarding the Acura Integra RS: In August 2013, I was rear-ended on the highway. The accident caused damage to the frame, and unfortunately, it was deemed a total loss. September 17, 2013, was the last day I had with the car before it was towed away. To this day, I still miss this car. At the time of the accident, it had 223,559 miles, and it was a clean title as well. The color was red as well.

I still have my 88 Integra, although mine has the automatic transmission, I wished it had the manual. That's why when i bought my 03 Civic brand new I got it with the Manual.

I own this car currently with only 52000 miles---always garaged and so nice---mine is also red with the sunroof only an automatic instead of shift. It has always and still lives in a garage. I do not drive it as I enjoy a cool Mazda Protoge5 as a daily driver. It is a shifter with miles already on it and fun. My acura is an almost perfect orig. time capsule just to have hold and keep like new.

No ABS. Had 4 wheel disc brakes Got Power steering and Cruise Control No power door locks. Manual Window and mirrors. Used to own the same Red one. Bought brand new in 1987.
