I had an ‘87 red Integra RS 3 door with a manual transmission. Very fun car to drive back then. Unfortunately, an SUV slammed into the back of me one day and knocked me into the car in front of me and totaled my car in the process. Replaced it with an ‘88 Prelude Si with the 4 wheel steering that I liked even better than my Integra.

these engines are "B" series, "D" series engines are SOHC.

This was the first iteration of the B16, hence, "A1"

The B series engines arent until the 2nd gen. Yes most D series are SOHC but Honda designated the 1st gen DOHC engines on Integras the D16A1. The press release on Acura's own website refers to these as the D16A1. The B16A1 is in the JDM CRX SiR and some other JDM models

No they aren't. My 87 had the d16 A1 and it had a carburetor

You have a Honda Integra then, I was talking about the Acura version for the North America market
@jesses63787 ай бұрын
@@AcuraAdvice it was an Acura. Not a Honda. North American car.
