What is really interesting is the discrepancy between the SHAWD bottles and the FWD models. Front wheel drive just kicks the snot out of all wheel drive in the mpg department.

Not bad for a tall, roomy, heavy 3-row crossover that doesn't have a hybrid battery. Did I miss you say if that one is FWD or AWD?

mine is the same... he does that withou traffic, short distances, no traffic...

1:11 may I ask why you are in normal mode and not comfort? I'd be interested to see what the results would be on comfort mode instead.

I try to do my test using real world conditions, so if there are different drive modes on the car I try to use "Normal" mode, not Eco or Comfort or Sport. I'm not hypermiling, I'm trying to replicate what someone might get on the highway at normal highway speeds.

@@CarDietrich right, but you can drive under real worl conditions and still use comfort mode. I've got a 2029 Accord MT 1.5L I use Econ mide 85% of the time, and lots of times I'm able to get 42 mpg

I have a 23 MDX AWD and i get maybe 21MPG with only 4500 miles

Acura recommends premium fuel for the MDX and that is what I used
