Hi Bud, thank you for the video! Did this car have the remote start function from factory, or did the new key you installed bring that function in once you coded it to the car? What is the most cost effective tool that can do this key programing for the 2014 MDX? I am sick of dealership upcharges and would like a good OBDII tool for to keep at home.

lol I bought a mdx key and programmed it to my 2017 Acura tlx 😂😂😂 it is working so I guess all those keys are same

Hold on trunk button does it work correctly

So the trunk, lock, unlock and even turning off the enigne work but it wont remote start for some reason so i return it and then bought another tlx remote start key to program and see if that one works. @@fabolousg4ever

I just had an engine remote starter kit added to my car and a locksmith tried to program it but it wouldn’t program. He said that it was not reading the new key fobs. What is he doing wrong or could it be a problem with the new kit installed? It’s a 2021 Acura RDX A-Spec

If he followed the steps and it's a dealership remote start system it should work If not he's not doing things right .

It’s a dealership start system they had to be install in the back rear of my vehicle under the headliner
