How fast is the Acura NSX? This next-generation Acura NSX is equipped with a Sport Hybrid SH-AWD power unit that consists of an all-new twin-turbocharged mid‑mounted V6 engine paired with an all-new 9-speed dual-clutch transmission (9DCT)! There is a Direct Drive Motor that supplements the engine with instant torque response. The Direct-Drive Motor also operates as a generator, maintaining the state of charge of the hybrid batteries to consistently support driver demands. Maximum Total System Power 573 hp and 476 lb.-ft.! This Acura NSX is fast! Find out by watching the acceleration test of that new Acura NSX!
Test note: So we filmed at a close and secure road that is straight for a few km, but sometimes there is that little layer of dust over the tarmac! Usually, it doesn't affect the car, but for a race car like this one, it was impossible to get a perfect time even with launch mode! And the unlucky part, mother nature played against us by putting a light layer of rain on the track. We try a lot but got 3.5 sec to 0-60 mph and 11.38 on the 1/4 miles with traction control going on each time we tried! Still, the Acura NSX is lightning fast! So no official time for the Acura NSX turbo!

So others, like carwow that claimed it below 3 sec? carwow showed 3.3 as the fastest, and im searching for 3 sec flat. do you think it can do 3 sec flat?

It the name plate issue. Those who are badge specific probably cant stand the fact the spend 100k+ on an acura. But for those who truly appreciate the car performance, and bought it, they got themselves a gem. Acura need to move themselves upstream to become teir 1 status in order to command such dollar. Otherwise, halo car like this nsx will be pass over.

I don’t see why people dislike the sound of this, the induction noise is insane! It’s definitely muted for sure though but an exhaust can wake that up no problem.

@@colin_deans I’d prefer if it remained FWD. What Honda has achieved with the Type R is special. I want it to remain light, sharp and keep performing as well as it does.

It’s quicker than the C8 in the 1/4 mile but the Shelby is quicker than both. NSX 1/4 mile - 10.8 C8 1/4 mile - 11.1 Shelby 1/4 mile - 10.6
