RIP, Ryu Asada. Probably the best designer Hot Wheels has ever had. This casting and paint job was inspired by his actual car.

Ryu will be missed. Him and I spoke briefly about Hotwheels making a version of my car before he passed. I’m sad that he didn’t get to see the finished result of my build and motocompo. RIP Ryu

I’ve seen a picture of the real version of this. Admittedly my first thought was “why the hell would an NSX fan cut up a perfectly good NSX? I would have wanted one that wasn’t”. Regardless, I think you made a strikingly accurate replica of the real thing
