One of the Acura driver assist features is adaptive cruise control with low speed follow. Once adaptive cruise control is activated, you can set your preferred cruising speed and then set one of four following intervals. The low speed follow feature can bring the car to a full stop without any use of the brake. For more details on adaptive cruise control, see the owner’s manual available online at owners.acura.com

I love all of this. What I’m trying to figure out is what is standard and what is part of upgraded packages? I’m looking at buying a 2016 and some of this isn’t listen in the description. Do I have to get the tech or advanced package to have these? What comes standard? What is in the different packages? Is the navigation standard or do I need to get an upgraded package for that??? How can I get the information on what is included in what packages? I’m doing this research before physically looking at the cars and need the details first. I really don’t have time to see each possible car in person.

The Technology package will begin to yield some of the safety features (Blind Spot, Lane Departure Warnings [NOT Lane Keeping Assist]), and backup camera. Not sure about parking sensors, but I would think not. Advance gets all previously listed, plus the autonomous aids, as well as ventilated seats. HTH!

Indicator should be in mirror or angled toward the driver when in A-pillar. I never see it as it is now in newer models. Just a light in the flat trim piece is probably cheaper to build but much less effective.

Both blind spot indicator was angled towards the driver in my 11 MDX Adv. Not sure why they switched to the flat indicator?
