Acute Pancreatitis causes severe pain in upper abdomen
Causes of acute pancreatitis
1. #Alcohol (Sharab)
2. #Gall bladder #stone (Pitt ki pathari)
3. Hypercalcemia
4. Hypertriglyceridemia
5. Trauma
6. Tumor (Gaanth)
7. Post ERCP
Symptoms
1. Pain abdomen (Pet mein dard)
2. Vomiting (Ulti)
3. Constipation and obstipation
4. Decreased urine
5. Shortness of breath
6. Fever
Diagnosis
1. Typical pain in upper abdomen
2. Increased serum #amylase and #lipase
3. Bulky pancreas on USG/CT/EUS
Treatment
1. Patient should be admitted
2. Nil by mouth
3. IV fluids
4. May require antibiotics
5. Drainage of fluid collections
Prevention
1. Avoid alcohol
2. Gall bladder surgery
3. Control calcium and lipid

Sir I had an attack of acute pancreatitis in 2019, since then it has come 4 times and sir report keeps only amalyse increasing. But sir I was hospitalized only for the first time after that when its paining it gets cured in 1-2 days with antibiotics. Sir can these attacks be stopped??

Yes,sir i also had gall stone and it suddenly blocked in bileduct and stent was placed to take out stone .finally i was diagnosed acute pancreatic cancer.

Mere husband ko acute pancreatitis problem h..Jo symptoms aapne btaye wo sare symptoms the..5 week ho chuke h.,abhi bhi pancreas m left side 600 ml n back side 650ml fluid h...so plz btaye ki kya treatment hona chahiye aage n kya high protein diet dena chahiye...

Our patient died in two days in Max hospital. We spent almost 4 lacs in just two days, then we took dead body. Before admission they spoke all positive things, after that they said, yeh ek andha kuaan Hain.

Mera beta 30 July se three times max hospital vaishali mai admit hai eak ya do din ke liye Ghar aata hai phir admit kerna perta hai mere bete ki age18 years hai use accute necrosis pencreas ki problem hai uska T L C -7 hokar phir 24 hogaya hai pls aap uska report dekh lijiye 🙏

Sir muje acute pancreatitis ka attack first September 2020 ko hua tha or mai 7 days ke liye admit bhi tha mere nose mai PCD pipe dalke treat kiya tha .Sir but uske bad bhi muje 3 bar or ho gya hai pancreatitis ka attack .Dr ye attack kya life bhr tk pdte rhega? Or sir mere twince brother ko acute necrotizing pancreatitis hai vo SGRH mai 4 months admit bhi rha usko bhi same repeated attack ate hai.
