BRUH. You couldn't have said this any better. And to be honest, Rory is inadvertently proving Joe Budden's point about employee compensation, partnership, etc. It's not that AD didn't deserve more money but these W9 contractor guys don't understand how businesses calculate employee compensation. It's not really EVER about what's fair or what's right, it's about what the owner of the business IS WILLING TO PAY YOU. If compensation was about fairness teachers would make the same amount as police and NFL players would be paid better than MLB players. It's just the reality.

Another conversation that shows just how out of touch with reality Mal is. You can tell Rory thinks he sounds stupid. Does Mal realize he’s crying about $2,100 bi-weekly for a job that at most was worked 10 hours a week (even 10 is probably a stretch)? Then comparing it to a Starbucks worker who 1) probably makes nowhere near that 2) works way more hours. AD himself used to brag about being paid well from No Jumper. Then on top of that Adam didn’t have him in an exclusive deal which allowed him to make money on his own with his stream. Then Mal even said himself AD was using No Jumper to get his name out there and have more visibility. It’s a two way street, beneficial to both sides. Mal is acting like AD made No Jumper and built all these relationships. Who are these people that AD built relationships with for Adam? A majority of No Jumper’s biggest videos are prior to AD even coming on the platform. They’re clearly speaking on a situation they’re not too familiar with (as usual).

the unspoken part here is that AD is a Crip... has alliances with mexican gangs and No Jumper studio is in a mexican gang's hood in LA (made evident by 1 of those interviews with a LA mexican gang banger on No Jumper). AD's gang alliances helped make No Jumper's platform EXIST, and that's not counting the carrying of conversations and feeding of cultural content. No $4200/mo is not Starbucks money but considering the value AD's presence brought... it's still not enough. he made it possible (over time) for No Jumper to exist through navigating set politics in Los Angeles ON BEHALF OF Adam

i get 9500 a month minimum at my job, i mean i build movie sets and tv show sets for hollywood but still there's a ton of grips like me, when you're the star of your show, you should be making more than grips do lol bad business isn't being a culture vulture, but adams style is culture vulture in general. him not paying people right is the white business man in him. man you get what you negotiate not what you deserve, he agreed to that money. i woulndt have.

Yeah he was the star of the show, but his show had other people who needed a livable wage, and it wasn’t brining in massive views…. So it was Probabaly fair. Plus they were drinking and smoking and chilling all day. Your doing physical labor, and have deadline.

He’s assuming that AD knew how much he was worth at the time. If you’ve never made that much money before, to make $4200 to come speak to your friends it’s might not seem that bad

I get Mal’s point about pay vs value but it’s what you negotiate. Kinda shows his lack of understanding with the whole Joe situation. I hate bringing it back there but he just gives me the same views on pay disputes that he gave 3 years ago.

Didn't see the Mal No Jumper Interview...but if he asked AD that question in front of Adam..what did he expect him to say? "Hell yea bruh. Adam is a huge culture vulture and a white supremacists!". Mal is being naive as hell. He actually put AD in a real bad situation to ask that question in that space. He should've asked him that before the interview.
