Thank you . These are great. I observed that in the middle 90s, as corporate radio and television grew more power with more distribution and grew more greedy, the frequency of Ad Council play greatly reduced to almost nothing. I ran many of them frequently while in local radio for a time.

I remember the Michael Jackson one at 1:33 very well. It was of course part of the Nancy Reagan 'Just Say No' Parents Movement. But the use of the song "Beat It" was actually very apropos when considering the peer pressure that sometimes leads to drunk driving in this commercial and in real life.

I liked both the bridge over troubled waters as well as Lady Liberty's plea of" If you still believe in me then save me."

I remember the child abuse ad, like it was yesterday. Wow, last time I saw any of these PSAs was in the later 90's. We need to bring those back.

1:41 The kid in the car from the "Drinking and Driving Can Kill A Friendship" ad looks like Judd Nelson but I can't be sure that it is him.

Interesting watch. The tone of these are much more direct (drinking/diving) and attack topics that seem to be unacceptable in today's age, such as the worship PSA.

"The baby is crying. I got to go" is permanently scared in my brain. I say it sometimes out loud and nobody knows what I'm talking about. I finally looked it up and here it is.

The one with the crashing glasses used to scare me when I was a kid.

I did see keep the torch lit on tv in those years and remember that being in a magazine print ad both.

Right. That's why the only real hand shown in that one is the hand that stops the crash of the beer mugs. The others are props.

I remember the second and third psa ads in a magazine print ad only. I was wondering if they ever aired on tv or not if they do I would like to find out about it and be able to pull those up on youtube please let me know if that can be done I would appreciate it very much.

The skeleton one scared me to death as a kid, even though i only saw it once, it left a lasting impression on me.

I was scared of some of those psa's as child like smokey the bear, crash test dummies and those mcgruff the crime dog psa's now that i'm an adult those ads are so lame.
