An 11-year-old ‘diva' has become an Internet superstar and built up a vast following on social media - despite suffering from a super-rare ageing condition. Adalia Rose, from Austin, Texas, has racked up nearly 170 million views on KZfaq and more than 13 million likes on Facebook with her hilarious videos showcasing her infectious personality. But Adalia has Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome - a genetic condition characterised by the signs of accelerated ageing, which affects less than 500 people worldwide. In additional to premature ageing, other symptoms include dwarfism, lack of body fat and muscle, loss of hair, visible veins, a high pitched voice and stiffness in joints. I’m watching this in 2021. They said most kids die at the age of 13. She’s now 14 :) that makes me so happy.. (Edit: since some people had trouble understanding: most kids with her condition! Not all kids die at 13, please use your brain)

It's actually so sad, she looked so cute and had the best humour, and yet haters still had the audacity to hate on someone who would not live more than 13 years. Her parents are so strong enduring the pain of losing their own child and knowing it would happen. Fly high and I hope shes having fun in heaven with all the unicorns and sparkles

She is the most genuine, honest ten year old ever. Nobody would EVER admit they played with barbies or loved unicorns. She was such a funny and kind soul. I just hope she knows she was adored by many and is loved by more than her family, but all of us.

Poor adalia rose was 15 when she sadly passed away on the 12 of January 2022, she was the most bubbly, funny and energ girl for her age and she was a beautiful soul who wouldn’t hurt any body this poor girl isn’t with us anymore but I’m sure to most of you she is still loved by many, Rest in peace angel

My heart is breaking for this precious girl and her family. My tears started flowing just a few minutes into this video, and seeing the comments, apparently this sweetheart left this world and went on to another. May she be in God’s arms and so happy now. She was blessed in having the right parents and family here on earth that loved her unconditionally and gave her the best life possible. May this family cherish the wonderful memories of their wonderful daughter, who was so full of life and brought them joy. God bless all of you.

So, based on your statement, the lifespan of each progeria survivor is determined by their strength? Imagine a parent reading your comment of their little warrior who passed at 11 or 12. Strength does not affect the progression of the disease. There is a woman who is currently 43 with the disease so she must just be stronger than Adalia based on your theory. Medical care availability and genetic's are the determining factor involved in how long someone with progeria lives. They are ALL fighter's and warriors. I know you comment was made out of love but comments like that bother me. Its like cancer survivors and how some do not make it - the ones who do beat their cancer are not stronger than the ones who succumbed to it, it all comes down to medical care and genetics. Did the Mother of 4 young children who did not survive her breast cancer not try hard enough? The expression of being "strong" to make it through a potential deadly illness is used so often and it completely disregards the struggle of those who did not. Something to think about anyways.

Dude she’s so smart for a ten year old. I hope one day I have a kid this funny and sassy and loving. She even had a crush in the camera guy 😂 and I love that at the age of ten she started her own KZfaq, of course her parents help her out but that’s all her personality shining there. She has wonderful parents too. It’s so sad to hear she passed away but in her short life she did more than most could do if given 100 lives to live.
