How Short Are You That You Can Not Reach?
Richard has been gifted an almost free Twirl by the Universe. But has he been moral, immoral or amoral? To help us find out, the first ever three times returning guest on the podcast and multi-award winning podcaster, Adam Buxton.
The pair discuss middle-aged confrontations and why the staff at WH Smiths in Cambridge station are maybe overzealous, how Adam appeared like a guardian angel when Richard was in trouble and telepathically summoned him, terror of mortality, what to name a dog, the frustrations of being considered small in stature, what it’s like to play a head in a box, how to keep your family alive when everyone expects podcasts to be free, plus a musical finale, which has maybe come a couple of decades too late.
If you want to change energy providers and fancy the sound of Richard’s recommendation Bulb, then sign up via bulb.co.uk/refer/richard234 to give yourself and Richard a £50 credit! Bulb have not paid for or even sought out this recommendation, so Bill Hicks can relax.

The wikipedia page Richard Herring probably looked at excludes spires so that's why it lists the City Hall instead of the Cathedral at the tallest building in Norwich. Richard Herring should therefore rephrase his question to "Based on criteria set out by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, what is the tallest building in Norwich?".

Hi Richard, It's me again. Sorry to say, but the same high frequency is on the podcast version of this one too. It can't have been there when you did it live, so it must be something happening with the recording of it. I've tried different headphones and the phone speaker itself and it doesn't change anything. However, it's really high so It's an easy fix for you or who ever edits the sound. I'm just letting you know again. I fucking love Adam Buxton and I am proud to say I started listening/watching from before his first appearance. All the best, proud Monthly badger. RHLSTP! RHLSTP! is the most satisfying of the acronyms to say out loud. As much as I love David Mitchell, I think Dr Buckles is an equally great podcast guest. And the combination of Rich & Adam results in such an easy, smooth, totally enjoyable experience. You have to love Rich saying that music is childish right before saying that he's getting a dog.

ryan brown Chris and Frank Skinner seem to be the big hold outs (as in the people who get requested most on Twitter when rich puts out a "who do you want to see" tweets) I mean, they're semi likely. You could try asking Jerry Sadovitz or Kitson and waste your time and come back insulted but that's probably not a good idea. Then again I woudlve thought Andrew Collins was even less likely. I have made efforts to invite on people of all kinds of backgrounds, but I am not able to insist that anyone takes part and many have turned me down. Alas I have little to offer anyone other than the fun of being on and a very small amount of money. But it is an issue in the industry and one that needs addressing, but I do need to have acts that are both estalished and experienced enough to cope with the rigours of what is actually a far from easy enterprise, so there is not a massive selection of established diverse acts. But do please make suggestions of who you'd like to see on the show.
