Hola, I'm Back. I know this show just came out a couple of days ago, but I need to see more videos for! Seriously guys, this show is amazing and all of the characters are so well developed! I really hope to make more videos for more of the characters!
Anyways, about the actual video! One of the characters that kind of stood out to me was Adam! I was bullied some when I was younger, and my parents instilled into to me the idea that people become bullies because they're hurting too. That idea has stayed with me my whole life, and I've found in most cases, it's true. This is why I knew I had to do an analysis on Adam. I can see so much potential in this character to show some development in upcoming seasons (Please, let there be more). As always hope ya'll enjoy this video!
Also, I really want to make another video for this show for Eric, so lets hope that I can pull myself together and get it done!

Honestly i love his character but i also hate him for not trying and also bullying the person he likes for years. He's got potential yet the character doesn't care. Heartbreaking and beautiful video,

I think he's the best character of thw series... the way he changes his behaviour. I think he felt the pressure of the expetations of other people, expecially his father... bu then he really wants to become a better person and show to people that he cares. (Sorry for my english I'm italian)

he's really a tragic character when you look into it. he wants to be better than he is, but his father doesn't offer any kind of good example or support.

bullying doesn’t justify anything but it’s really sad. If his dad had treated him good, he wouldn’t have turned out like this.

It's such a powerful scene, I rewinded it so many times. The delivery is just so impressive, you can tell he's shaking from fear but he also can't keep his anger inside anymore. Great acting.

Adam is the character that I love to hate. He may not be a principal character but he has quite a development. I only wish that if there is a season 2, he will come back. He deserve a second chance, a chance to be a better man

literally all of the hate around his story just bc it’s a stereotypical bully-secretly-gay trope is so unfair!!! like did you not see that he wasn’t just a bully there was so much development around his OWN STORY and eric wasn’t even actually afraid of him??? stereotypical representation is still representation esp when we all know there’s truth to it and there are ppl who relate to it

So true! Honestly I relate to Adam more than I expected. Him being a bully, his relationship with his father, his sexuality.. I went through very similar things and it was horrible, but I managed to evolve and make things better. Adam deserves a chance too. I can't wait to see his character development in season 2.

@@marcelamorgan4887 uhh it's a long story but basically i moved to a different school and the popular kids made it their job to make me feel unwelcomed so i had a difficult time integrating myself. then the next year a new girl moved to our school and the first day we met we actually got along really well, but then people started bullying her because she was a tomboy and she was poor. everyone was calling her either a boy or a d*ke and i was too young and not ready to come to terms with my sexuality or gender identity but something in the back of my head told me i might be the things my classmates were calling this new girl and it was a bad thing that would get me bullied even more. So to distract my classmates from bullying me, i pretty much became the leader in bullying someone else. which was extremely wrong and i feel like shit every time i think about it. I definitely didn't hate that person at all, a part of me actually wanted to be friends, but i managed things in a very toxic way that probably affected her for a long time.

I love this character sooo much, he got my attention during that washroom scene with Otis and from there on I paid extra attention to him. You can really see the *act* he puts on to hide and drown his own sufferings. *He's just got sad eyes too.* I love that you used this song more than anything too.

I really love his character, because I can see how much he struggles with his sexuality and the issues with his dad. I hope he gets a chance in season two (which he will be in) to explore more of himself because he’s such an interesting character ❤️❤️

Adam causes pain because he reflects his context and not his true love--and he realizes this but does not understand why..He is confused. He hurts. I was confused most of my life,so I know how he feels. I have been there too.

I know that Adams changes weren't significant but i think they were still there, he came out to his family, i know the name he called eric was hurtful but i think eric started to own it and not let it get to him. In away these two characters both grown Adam defied his fathers expectations and stopped letting peoples opinions define him. I think we need to stop viewing eric as a victim because he has triumphed he isn't afraid of adam in fact he loves him. Adam doesn't want to hurt eric any more, in fact he has started to care for him.

Honestly When I Finished Watching Both Seasons...I Felt I Wanted To Be There For Adam...Just Wanted To Hugg Him...In The End Of S2E8 I Finally Had A Smile On My Face Seeing Adam Also Smiling In Front Of Erics Parents...I Know Its Not a Justification Of Him Becoming a Bully Due To His Past..But Dear God...He Does Deserve A Forgiveness...Warm Warm Hugg He Deserves...

I might be alone in this but his character reminds me so much of Draco Malfoy. At first we only say his bully side, but then we realise it all started because of his dad and the environment at his home. This doesn't excuse it or anything but at least we come to understand. S2 really developed his character and I love that him and Eric stopped being toxic (cause they were at first) and found each other. I am just anxious about what Rahim said 'he can hold your hand but I am not sure he can catch you'. That's definitely foreshadowing for something bad to happen, but we would be invested in the show otherwise.

I started hating Adam, to at least empathising a bit with him at the end of the show. I don't say I love this character but at least you get to understand what he's going through.
