Folk's don't realise the importance of the work Rick is doing, one of life's greats. The world needs more Rick Beatos 🙏 ❤️

Let me guess...he's both "underrated" and a "national treasure"...? Right? ...there..got the cliche, pseudo-compliments out of the way for everyone else...

I agreed.People will be studying his videos and interviews a long time from now.

@buckhorncortez no thanks.... don't guess, he's rated very highly and is a world treasure.....! The guy is an educator first and foremost, his love for music is infectious, he's also got skills, non more so than being able to articulate his passion, document, record and build an amazing archive the hopefully will last for many generations. Rick Beato is a genius in my eyes, and there's not enough plaudits for the guy

For me the brightest star of the internet. And so generous with it. It's fun to see Rick being interviewed for a change. He look a little embarrassed, (or is that bashful?) to be on that side of the microphone! I hope he continues educating, appreciating and conversing for many years to come. One's sixties is an ideal time to amp life up, because you know your stuff. Rick does anyway.

Music to me was gone. Forgotten. Then I heard about a Rick Beato KZfaq thingy from an old buddy. I had since bought 3 acoustic guitars, and 2 electrics. I am one of your most “rabid” fans, Rick. One of the best things about music that happened to our country, and the world.

Rick is the man! I’ve been subscribed to his KZfaq channels since he had 40k subs. He is such an inspiration on so many levels, as a musician, a producer and engineer, teacher and curator of quality music. I bought his Beato Book and had it printed on extra quality thick paper and bound as a wish and gift from my wife for Christmas. With 200€ it’s the most expensive book I own 😂. Rick, you are a treasure to us musicians and engineers and in general lovers of music. I very much appreciate your channel being music only, no politics, no bs. May god bless you and give you an extra long and healthy life. And congratulations, you deserve every bit of success, because you worked very hard for it and because you make each of us a better musician! ✌🏼

Rick Beato channel is one of those channels that you never get tired of watching and learning, it happens to be that his favorite 70s bands are my favorite as well so that is great.. The triple interviews of the Police band members, Frampton, Anderson, etc, all of them were fantastic, only a musician can talk to musicians of such caliber as he does! Regards from Costa Rica!

When I found Rick's Channel 5 years ago. I was like wait? A music producer that talks about music with the same passion I have for music, and art. And very engaging and intelligent. Seeing that child like wonder in His What Makes This Song Great series. Then you started to see the artists responding by doing interviews with him. It is so awesome to feel like this guy is an intermediary to all these artists for me. Thanks Rick for taking us on this journey with you.

I am not a player, musician. My great appreciation for the form brought me to Beato. And even more than that he reminded me of a Music Teacher, Mr. Boys, at my old school that encouraged me to sing.

His channel is great! I love music, I’m a drummer and guitar player and really enjoy how be breaks down music. His interviews are always interesting because he asks great questions that other musicians want to know. I started watching him many years ago and his infectious passion for guitar inspired me to pick up and start playing guitar at the ripe old age of 50. I keep hoping someday he’ll get to interview McCartney, Clapton, and Gilmore before he retires. Congrats on your success and thank you for your contribution to music.

I watch Rick on his KZfaq channel, but didn't know he had won an award! His interviews & conversations with legends & new talent are anything but puff pieces or dry theory. His passion for both the artistic side & technical side of good music are self-evident. And, of course, his "old-man-shouts at clouds" rants about contemporary songs are wonderfully epic! 🇨🇦🇺🇲

Developing Muscle Memory is the discipline for everything we'd like to do. It takes practice, as teachers will tell you, to learn to write and read, to play any sport, fly your own airplane, in short everything we need to think and do. Congratulations to Rick, and thanks to Adam and News 8 WROC for this interview. Thanks to Gibson for working with Rick to "pay it forward" to the next generations of musicians. - A fan of RickBeato and RickBeato2 channels (and more)...

Rick's comments on Rochester were spot on. My wife and I had the benefit of living in Fairport and Canandaigua for a few years due to corporate relocations and loved every minute of it. The people were incredible...we've been in Boston since 1995 and we often joke about moving back there when we retire. Love Rick!

I think what Rick says at 15:35 in this video says it all when responding to one of Adam's questions. "Well, I sit in amazement at it..." (meaning the incredible natural talent some musicians have when creating music). Despite all of Rick's talent and experience (which is massive), we feel his genuine amazement, appreciation, and enjoyment of all the music and musicians he shares with us through his videos. I've always felt like I'm sitting in the same room with Rick while he shares his thoughts, as a fellow music lover...and friend. We all appreciate how genuine Rick is. Thank you, Rick...the recognition is well deserved. And, Adam, what a great interview! Thank you.
