I like Adam Lambert not just because of his brilliant talent at music, the way he talks, or how good-looking he is; the fundamental reason is he's being himself. He's turely who he is, and he is honest with his music and himself. It's really hard to please eveybody in this society, haters, stereotypes, and prejudice are eveywhere; however, for me, I'll always be his fan, standing here to listen to his voice and his music.

His actual personality is so different to his stage personality. And I never knew the kiss wasn't choreographed!

Independently of his sexual orientation (which is ultimately HIS choice and own business), as an artist and as a human being - he is exceptional !! I LOVE Adam !!!

Been reading comments. I've loved Adam from the first moment on Idol auditions. Was not bothered by the kiss at the AMAs at all. I was bothered by the grabbing of a dancer's head and holding into thrusting crotch bit ... and I'd be uncomfortable seeing a female do that on a family hour program. What he did was a male version of Gaga, upped a couple of notches. Great performance, wrong venue, especially as introduction to the general public, non-Idol watchers, as not the place to do a sadomasochistic performance. With the gifts he has of a truly incredible voice and beauty and charisma, I wish overt sexuality was not how he wants to brand himself, as I think he is so much more and cheapens himself. I went to the Idol tour show and it was same -- family show, lots of children, and he's using a mike between his legs a la masturbation. Were I a parent, I'd have been upset and I'd never take my kids to an Idol tour again. He goes on interview, displaying intelligence, manners, and sweet speech, so it's a mega-mismatch with the screaming, overt sexuality in performance. That mis-match increases the shock value. Very nice of Ellen to have him on. Shame on GMA for the cancel. JMHO.

I really love Adam Lambert, and I think that the problem with the kiss was rediculous. However I have to admit that I understood the uproar over the sexual content. The imitating of oral with that guy, the leashes and overt use of BDSM I think took the kiss which obviously would have had controversy because of homophobes and catapulted it into one mass of over the top sex and dark and BDSM which is a controversial community in and of itself. That being said I still love him and his music and think he's an amazing person^^ I'm so glad he was able to find a name for himself and life his artistic dream.

Some people thought it was wrong when he did it on TV,'cause there proably were kids watching. That's why he says he was not intended to offend anybody but he won't apologiza, 'cause he's not a babysitter, and if parents don't want their children to watch him kiss another guy, than it's their problem, not his :)

It’s amazing looking back at this just 11 years later, how there was still an expectation to apologize for for such nonsense. I remember watching this all happen in my freshman year of HS, and thinking that that the outrage was normal. Not anymore.

Why does he have to be so perfect and why don't other straight people get to understand that he's normal?
