For those who don't know Adam studied Opera for a year, (pre-idol days) . I really think he has improved with age, I don't remember his lower register ever being so beautiful. I was stunned by this performance. Well done Queen !!

Studying light opera for a year doesn't make him an opera singer. They're immaculately dressed too... no serious opera singer would be dressed appallingly like that. It's not Queen either, so shove your "Well done."

WOW, Adam is so freaking amazing. I don't know the song but this was absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad that he is the frontman for Queen. I've loved Adam since American Idol, and also love how he has grown as an artist from working with Queen. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️😘

Nessun Dorma is an aria from Puccini’s opera, Turandot. Sends chills to everyone who hears it when sung so perfectly. Attention all opera companies: Adam Lambert can sing and act any role he is given. Bring him in and he will attract a younger audience and an entirely new, long-lasting donor base. Outstanding performance. I am so not used to Adam singing in his chest voice in that lower register that I would have never believed he could, not only pull this off, but nail it. I am so impressed. I have long known of Adam's amazing vocal talents but I just did not expect this. Thank you for posting this excellent recording of this performance. What a beautiful tribute to the people of Bologna to unexpectedly drop this into the concert in their town.

The versatility of this man is insane! Queen songs are eclectic for sure (and hard!) and he does them brilliantly but he can sing really anything. Country (Girl Crush) blues (Red House), hard rock (Whole Lotta Love), rockabilly (Blue Suede Shoes) just a few that comes to mind. Seriously, can someone how many different genres he has nailed during his career?

i haven‘t heard him sing all of queen‘s songs so far and i don‘t think he could sing all of them to a proper extent. like mustapha for instance. after all it‘s a matter of taste if you like his versions. but overall he‘s a phenomenal singer.

@@greenogre22 Saying that you don’t think he could sing all Queen songs properly is quite a preconceived opinion, especially when you haven’t heard them all. And mentioning another singer is quite rude, once again if you haven’t heard Adam versions. I have, on the other hand, heard Mustapha, and Adam’s renditions and voice are far superior. That is my “matter of taste”.

Agree, after listening to this at least 50 times yesterday I went exploring KZfaq for professional opera singers doing the same song and few even came close to this spell-binding performance. Pavarotti, of course, was incredible, the legend Adam was honoring with this performance.

The atmosphere in Bologna was incrediable. Chanting and singing started an hour before you came on stage.-we'd bought tickets in 2019 for 10th May 2020- cancelled then rescheduled to May 10th 2021- Cancelled then rescheduled to July 11th 2022.... and Adam does this ... the Italian National Anthem. WOW WOW WOW.... My Favourite. all time singer. This comes from someone who watched your first performance on top of the pops of killer Queen as a little girl and later on the 6 week no. 1showing of the Bohemanian Rapsody video! You and Roger are amazing.

I have very rarely had a performance hit me like this one, I have been listening for hours on end and every time it still raises chills from head to toe, simple spectacular. The only other time I ever recall a vocal performance hitting me even close to this hard it required 12 operatic voices to do it - The Ten Tenors, with Chris Mann and Katherine Jenkins live in Palm Desert CA, singing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. But Adam's singular voice has topped that experience. He really should record this, or release this live version as a single for his Feel Something Foundation.

Sometimes when I hear/watch someone sing this Aria it seems they are just showing off their vocal skills whereas Adam beautifully conveyed the message of the song, making it much more emotionally impactful for the audience.

Hearing Lambert above has topped listening to 12 operatic voices?!! Proof that you all over-rate this karaoke singer, when Katherine Jenkins can sing his ass off anytime. It's white coat time for Glamberts.

Those who possess great talents always invite criticism and jealousy from others. They wish to possess what the object of their jealousy has but know they can never achieve it. I think this might be what you suffer from.
