I love the way he was confident without being cocky, when he said “I can saang” - it easily could have rubbed the judges the wrong way if it was anyone else. But Adam of course had the vocal chops, and showed his playful personality in answering. Also when he said “is it something I could get a shot at working on?” showed great humility on his part. Remember that he was already a professional singer at this point for many years, yet still responded so humbly and admitted that he had things to learn. He deserved all the success he got and more

His audition of the Queen song is the best audition I've ever heard on American Idol. He sang it 10,000 times better than Queen who already sang it well. It would've been nice if he could've performed the whole thing because it was so good. I wish he had won that year because his voice is amazing and he had such a wonderful personality.

Very few runner ups or winners still have label contracts. Only Carrie, Kelly, Adam, Jordon, etc do. Winners from last few seasons only time will tell. Adam is already a huge superstar worldwide. Shame on US Radio for not playing his music.

He can sing in a low, deep, manly voice as well. He has a very wide range. The fact he can sing higher than a lot of women just is just a proof he's a great singer.

I had no idea that the judges weren't sure about him and he went and became a favorite to win the competition and was in the top two. He proved the judges wrong every week.

He stood out and sang with feeling on that season. Changed it up everytime. No autotune. Not Disney produced. Paid his dues. Slash, Meatloaf, Brian May of Queen were impressed. So are alot of other popular artist.He can sing in 4 octaves. Not too many other pop singers currently can. Most of the negative comments I see are from either tone deaf people, or homophobes.He was trained in Opera and raised on Bowie.
