I loved his early look best. I can't help but wonder how different his career would have been without that kiss. Radio play for sure and a solo career. Maybe it turned out better this way? We'll never know. I'm just glad he's successful and it will be interesting to see what follows.

I am very upset with the writer of this video. How can anybody discuss Adam Lambert's "dramatic transformation" and completely ignore one HUGE, Major influence on his career for an entire decade, and a pair of mentors who have, according to Adam himself, supported and guided the majority of his maturing into the artist he is today - Queen! Have you listened to any interviews at all from the past 10 years? Queen and their members Brian May and Roger Taylor are referenced in nearly every interview Adam has given, and he credits them as being his mentors and teaching him an entirely different side of music making that he has now incorporated into his own writing, recording, and performing practices! Shame on you for only telling less than half of the story of Adam's growth and maturing into the performer he is today!

I love Adam! I wish I could meet him. He was dating one of my best friends during the "Idol" season. My friend was in Wicked with him. There are still tons of pics and videos of them online! My friend has been an actor from a young age, and a singer for quite some time, too. I don't want to put his name out there, but if you have seen any pictures of them from Wicked, or other things about them online, people will probably know who I'm talking about. There are still videos on YT, people "shipping" them. I hope to see Adam in concert one day. I go to a ton of concerts, but I haven't been able to catch a solo show of his. (I don't particularly care for Queen's music, but I'm glad they had him!) I would love to see him just performing his songs though. Hopefully soon!

Adam should have won American idol his season. I was upset he didn't win and thought him being gay had something to do with it. He's gone further than the winner so that's all that matters. I was always on the edge of my seat waiting to see his performance each night AI aired his season. I do agree with the other comments you left out Queen and who has helped him to the top

I'm very grateful to have a supportive family like Adam. It means the world to us (LGBTQIA+) in our community and we have more of a tendency to take risks and be ourselves and be confident. My parents never even made me think that coming out as queer would be an issue at all. That's the key, making it a non-issue.
