What an absolutely beautifully put together hour of stand up. The pacing and set up between laughs and sincerity was masterful. Big ups to Adam and everyone who put this together, was absolutely captivated for the entire hour of events that *definitely didn't happen*

Everything about this special is amazing. The way the story was put together and told was so captivating. The clever little references to earlier parts of the story was a good touch. Everything was impeccable, the editing, the lighting, the back drop.. EVERYTHING! Hands down one of the best specials I've watched to date. 👏👏👏👏

"let's call him..... Carl" was one fo my favorite lines! Certainly not the funniest work but clearly the most honest and having a single story weaved through the entire set was something that I don't remember being done for some time and really kept you hooked on the story!

I cannot stress just how proud of you I am Adam... bizarrely lol. Your progression as a comedian has genuinely blown my effing mind. The quality of this special has catapulted you up with the big boys now in my opinion... and I truly mean that, hand on heart. I'm blown away honestly by this, it's really hit me for 6 by just how elite Adam has become in such a short period.

This is the best hour I’ve ever seen. Beautifully written, beautifully delivered, honest, open, emotional and funny. The build up to the final joke before he walks off is world class. Absolutely brilliant.

Speechless. Had me captivated for all 68 minutes. Every part of the writing and the delivery is perfect, building the whole story while maturely addressing his personal difficulties and dropping a punchline at just the right point. Outstanding show.

Absolutely brilliant. The highs and lows, pauses etc were all perfectly executed. How this isnt a Netflix special i will never know. First class comedy from one of the UK best comedians.

This hour is honestly fucking incredible The location, lighting, branding, videography, sound mixing and aesthetic is honestly exceptional Not to mention Adam being at his absolute best. Timing and delivery was elite. Funnily enough, I could see a bit of Alfie in there. Well done Adam mate, I know your proud already but you deserve it all.

The difference when stand up is from the heart and personal shows such a massive contrast to written jokes. Life is full of humour anyway, being able to turn it into a show and keep people's attention for an hour, while you spill your heart out...well done Adam. I wish you guys all the best. Agreed, his progression has to be one of the quickest I've seen. It makes me believe that the frequency of the podcast has also somehow helped his stand up ability and methodology, I'm *genuinely* extremely happy for him... its great to see him getting lots of love from an ever growing audience too. 👏

This is a masterpiece of performing. It’s funny, as funny a stand up as I’ve watched for a long while but strangely one of the things I enjoyed most were the silences.. it kept a tension to the story throughout. Very well done Mr Rowe 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

He's also one of my favourite comedians too, this was a different approach to his comedy and he absolutely smashed it out the park. I think I might even prefer this method of a solitary story for the entire special, not many people could pull this off in my opinion but Adam not only did... but did it extremely well. I'm weirdly proud of him even though I've never even met him (as strange as that may sound lol).

What a fucking masterpiece this is, Since finding Have a word and been lucky enough to seeing Adam in Middlesbrough, he has shot up there to be one of if not the best stand up comedian going. His story telling is spot on and the references are so quirky. Can only see him getting bigger and bigger. Smashed it lad 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
