Farley was a crazy, energetic party animal and Kevin James is just fat.. he gets hurt or gets put in sensitive situation and people 40+ laugh. Just saying, way different roles to play

I feel like Adam Sandler captures Farley's eating demeanour quite well near the end. Hunched over the food, possibly a little aggro like a dog, because he's surrounded by other eaters. And focused.

There are countless great movies and funny comedians, but I've never rewatched any comedies as many times as I did with Tommy Boy and Beverly Hills Ninja (I watched that with my little brother probably at least 15 times), and still laugh out loud every single time! Makes me teary eyed just thinking about it. Chris would want me to laugh though 😇🙂

Whenever he's giving an interview or talking off-the-cuff, I love watching him talk and tell stories; hell, I rewatch most of them too many times. He's a beautiful spirit and for some reason I get a bad feeling whenever I see him, like we're going to lose him the way we did Mr. Williams... It's just a feeling, but...

movies like those don't need sequels. the beauty and humor is in the one story that's told, not dragging it into "sequels and franchises." look what happened with dumb and dumber too.. i didn't make it past the first 15 minutes of that movie. Sandler just needs to get back into writing and channel the spirit of Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. Most of the movies he's bombed in were just movies he starred in, and he can only do so much with the script he's given. He really shines in movies he writes or co-writes as well as stars.

It's pretty sad this is my only connection to a celebrity and the fact I'm bragging about it is even worse. But my mom went to rehab with Farley, she told me he was a really sad guy but. He used to hangout with my mom and me when I was a baby.

+The Shadow Broker It was a Netflix developed movie, that's why it was released there. Sandler made a deal with Netflix to do a few movies with/for them. In response to the OP's statement though and the good movies his been in that people are mentioning in this thread, the problem is that no one went to see those movies. NO ONE. They were really good and Sandler was great in them, but audiences as a whole wanted nothing to do with him in a serious role and never even gave them a fair shake. They made no money so he went back to his comedy schtik. And for the record, I personally think Click was awesome.

trechan I respectfully disagree. But, it's important to keep in mind everyone has different tastes. Now most of Sandler's new movies I have not liked at all. Some of his older ones I did/do and can appreciate. But I don't like all of them either. Click is one that I like a LOT. You can't go into it expecting an oscar contending caliber movie though when you know it's a largely slapstick silly comedy with overtones of dramatic elements and family bonds. Plus it's got Christopher Walkin in it
