Adam probably didn't care as he A. Knew you weren't a threat and B. Wasn't explicitly ordered to deal with potential intruders just to deal with threats to Yorinobu

I like to believe that Adam both knew Saburo intended to kill his father and that you were there. He doesn't bring your presence up because it would've interrupted Yorinobu's plans so instead he just watches you intensly to make sure you dont know anything. It also gives credence to them blaming Saburo's death on infiltrators despite the security system being off.
