The few snakes that survived to make it over the net were almost universally beaten into submission by Miwa and her lethal bat. Amazing skill and ball reading ability.

He does attack - he uses the lobs to set up situations where he can loop or kill the ball. Like any sort of defense it's no good unless you can back it up with an attack. Very true for choppers as well, even the old-time hardbat choppers would pick-hit weak returns.

She is much better prepared to Adam's play than many other girls he played against. She is changing the sides, she is attacking hard, she keeps the game fast and does not fall for his Adam-tricks.

Every TT club has a “tricky” player who plays some unorthodox style that means they’re good enough to beat most club level players but never consistent enough to get to national or international level. Adam is that player. You gotta love him tho.

This was very entertaining. Miwa is very cute of course but what's really impressive is how this shows the difference is reaction times between an adult and a child. It's really noticeable. An adult can beat a child in this game by experience and skill as well as power, height and a greater reach to some extent but not on reactions! Thanks for the video Adam!

Miwa's fundamentals and techniques are far, far superior than Tomo by a long shot. If she keeps this up, she might be a threat to the Chinese National Team when she is 16 and older for sure.

@@Max-yp1iw Because he loves to do them. It is his style that he is comfortable with. And Miwa played aggressively to not let him give any initiative so he was pushed to defence. Anyway, he plays same shots, but maybe not so pushed back, with players of his league.

Seemed like your loops were short often. Tired arm for you or was she doing some spin on her smash returns that was messing with your usual return accuracy? Great fun to watch for sure!
