They dropped the charges because it was Murder 1, and when the cell phone footage came out it undercut that murder 1 charge. It was a rush to judgment. If they would have charged them properly with voluntary manslaughter those charges would not have been dropped. It would have had to been worked out in court. The Prosecution knows they would have got whupped in court with that murder 1 charge. Prayers for all the families involved in that situation.

@@thanors2 charging them with Murder 1 was so egregious that’s why they dropped it. It was a rush to Judgement and they tried to run wild with it. Had they took their time to investigate and charge them properly it wouldn’t have been any backlash. Chasing somebody down and killing them is not a clear case of self defense.

They would hav had to prosecute the minor and moms for the victim’s family’s justice. I’m definitely not judging little folks though, he did what any son should do when his mom is getting brutally attacked .

Stick to Speaking on LA shit. This was a clear case of self defense. At MOST they could've charged her son with was possession of a firearm, and even then, at his age, he'd have no problem getting probation/community service.

I’m not judging little folks, he did what he felt he had to do, but he’s very fortunate that they tried to run wild with it and erroneously charged him with murder 1. It was so egregious that they had to let them go.
