As a kid watching the Batman tv show , I never noticed Jokers mustache . That's how good Cesar Romero was.

Burgess Meredith is my favorite, always has been. He was wonderful as The Penguin. Nice to hear Adam speak so highly of him.

I love the entire cast of the original Batman series. It's wonderful to here Adam West talk about all of them. I adore Cesar Romero and Frank Gorshin.

To me there is only one true James Bond and that is Sean Connery. In the same way, there is only one true Batman and that is Adam West. The Batman character Adam portrayed to me was much more intelligent than the new Batman characters played by the new actors. In every battle Adam's Batman constantly used his mind not just his fists! I like the fact that he never felt that in order to defeat the evil doers he needed to become like them. He did things his own way and never copied his enemies.

Reportedly..Mr.Mickey Rooney..was the first choice to play"The Penguin" and Mr.Frank Sinatra was slated to play"The Joker"..but..for whatever the reason? They never did the show..Burgess Meredith and Caesar Romero did those super crooks and they became popular characters on the show.

Adam must have forgotten that Julie Newmar played Catwoman in an episode or two.

I only wish that Poison Ivy would be on the show. That would be great to have another iconic comic book villainess alongside Catwoman but too bad she wasn't really a big character at the time (Poison Ivy was created in 1966, the same year the Batman TV show first aired).

You think rubber nippled George Clooney was better? People who have a sense of humor and don't expect comic stories to be pretentiously dramatic liked him. One of the creators or Batman was even great friends with Adam West and said that he himself should have devoted more time in his comics to humor.

While he's not the dark tone batman most of us prefer, Adam and the 60's TV show did help make Batman a house hold name. You could say the worst brought out the best ;)
