We're flying to Edinburgh & Dublin end of this year. We're so excited & cannot wait! 3.5 weeks in Scotland & 3 weeks in Ireland, so it's a nice chunk of time to do some real exploring within both countries.

Speaking as a chef and a Scotsman I hope you had a great experience both culinary and as a guest , also that we lived up to your expectations and you were treated well and really enjoyed your visit. On my behalf I will say that I really enjoyed your video of you trying out our cuisine. Some you may have been dubious about - such as haggis, Neeps and Tatties. .a great video. I have subscribed and look forward to seeing more. Haste ye Back . Rab from Glasgow Scotland.❤

If you're ever back in Edinburgh go during August to experience the Fringe festival, it takes over the city. If you're ever back in Glasgow visit the Sharmanka exhibition of mechanical sculptures. If you're ever back in either city see a comedy show at The Stand.

Hi you three explorers. Just to say you were thin at the start of the video and out weight on by the end ha ha ha! I’m only kidding. What a wonderful video you both made and your child was so well behaved. I’m actually the executive chef at the US Embassy in Baghdad and I’m Scottish, yes from Scotland. I absolutely loved looking at Scotland from here and you both captured it so well as well as the food you got. I preferred watching you to just watching a movie. I normally watch Outlander which was filmed in Scotland and if you’ve never seen it then you’ve got to watch all the series’s. Now that I’ve found you I’ll subscribe and work through all your videos on your channel. Keep up the great work guys ❤

Yes, I noticed the wonderful behavior of their kiddo as well. Some babies/ small children's behavior takes over the whole of everyone's attention. But they were able to comfortably take the baby AND record and enjoy everything. ❤❤❤

👋Hey guys, Oh gosh, I've posted some crazy stuff here & there & for this I do apologise. This is great guys & as a part Scottish lassie, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I also enjoy your Ireland road trip videos. All around, they're really enjoyable & to see you guys travelling around with your wee one is just wonderful. You were blessed to receive such nice weather, for the most part. My parents did a full tour of the UK & Ireland & much of their trip was riddled with rain unfort. On the flip side however, this part of the world requires rain to remain nice & verdant & it is an integral part of this part of the world, but I think too much of it can also be a real drag. Very enjoyable all around & Thanks for sharing your lives/travels with we viewers.

I think the boat at Mallaig went to the Hebrides, going by memory so could be wrong , I'm old but Scottish. When I was 17 I spent a week with a work mate on Islay. Sailed into Port Ellen but stayed in Bowmore. 5 mile walk from one to the other to go dancing.

We got back from Scotland a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, ended up in Edinburgh on about the worst weather day, freezing cold & raining. Looking forward to returning to Scotland next year, hopefully during summer!!! Great video guys.

Don't visit Scotland for the weather. Edinburgh is about the same latitude as Juneau, Alaska. Mid July to mid-August is a 'fair bet' but be prepared for a northern climate. Summer arrives on a Monday and is gone by Friday (local humor). A born Scot wrote this. Slange'.

I worked in the whisky industry for 30 years including Bowmore. Bonnahabhain was always difficult to pronounce until you realise that Gaelic has no 'v' in the alphabet and the 'bh' is sounded as 'v'

Hi - I live in Scotland and am so happy you enjoyed your trip to our stunning country. You stated in some amazing hotels and even though I live here you have given me some inspiration. In booking your hotels, did you book as a package through a local travel agent or did you book directly with each hotel yourself?

Thank you for the kind words Russell! We love Scotland, you live in a beautiful and welcoming country! We mainly booked through websites like Expedia. Coming from outside the US we prefer to use large companies for bookings to give us some protection. We don’t use travel agents for any of our travels.
