00:00 William Shatner returns and talks to Adam about hitchhiking across the country in the 1940s. Adam recalls a 1982 clip of Shatner in ‘Circus of the Stars’ and the guys give their thoughts on a few commercials ranging from the 1970s to today.
55:46 Segment 2: The guys also discuss kayaking, eating bugs, and tiger sharks. Finally, William recalls his Comedy Central Roast in 2006 and compares it to the Tom Brady Roast.
01:29:55 Chris Mazzilli joins the show next and talks about working with Robert Downey Jr. on Downey’s Dream Cars. The guys chat about Corvettes and racing before Adam brings up a car that he tried to win at auction years ago.

They were filming streets of san francisco near our house. Micheal douglas walked right past our ragged group of kids. Karl Malden came over and said to us where is the nearest store? We pointed up the street. Karl malden said who wants ice cream? He walked with us to the store and bought ice cream for maybe six of us. He then sat down on the curb with us in his trenchcoat and hat and asked each of us our names and where we went to school as we ate our ice cream together. Then we walked back to the set and watched them film the scene. We booed micheal douglas after they finished filming the scene. After that we loved karl malden and despised micheal douglas. Karl Malden. What a great man he was!

This interview is far better than the Bill Maher Club Random interview. I think it's the quality of the interviewer. But I love William Shatner so much, I would even tolerate Maher's rude AF interviewing style to hear anything Mr. Shatner had to say if he'd let him. Thank you for this, Adam. You rock.

Scrolling through the few comments, there's probably about 20, and wishing I hadn't done so. Now I'm just pissed off. wtf is wrong with people? This man is a legend and the oldest to go to space, even. To pass the physical to be allowed to go to space at age 90 no less is miraculous in and of itself. The bitchy ones in the comment section have no idea what they have here. I loved him as the Big Giant Head on 3rd rock from the sun, too. Playing off of John Lithgow must've been a blast. That entire cast was just bananas and how perfectly suited they were to one another. It was just the right amount of absurd to be fricken hysterical. I want to see this man reach age 100. Someone get the bubble wrap. And find out what's in his drinking water.

I just recently saw one of Maher's with Bill Burr. Near the end, Burr got pissed that Maher would keep interrupting and not let him answer the question. When he angrily said something about it, Maher just kept on going, probably too drunk to realize it.

I worked at a regional theater in New England. One day I was tasked to go through the archive to put together a display for the theater's 40th anniversary. I found a head shot of Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner. They had performed in different performances back in the 60's. I still have those head shots in storage somewhere. The Nimoy one was wild because he had these huge side burns.
