Stephen Naideth was a champion on Bullseye in 1980 and won the $50K TofC on Scrabble in February 1985 and $79K overall.

That hurt when he missed the first question in the Ultimate Challenge, those questions are a lot harder than in the main game.

Here in Chicago in 1990, The Challengers aired Weekdays at 3:00pm on WLS-TV ABC 7 before Jeopardy!

WBZ in Boston at 5pm, until 10/22 when it moved to 4pm. In March ‘91, it moved to 11am, ouch!

It was on at 4:00 on KOMO 4 until July 1991 it moved at 1:30 in the morning.

Here in Kentucky, The Challengers aired every weekday on WLKY in Louisville (before it was replaced in the 5:30pm time slot by an extra airing of Jeopardy!) and on WTVQ in Lexington right after The Joker’s Wild.

@@Adamdavidk1 In Columbus, Ohio, this aired at 7pm on WCMH 4 until January 11, 1991 when it was moved to 2am.
