Yes if you are using the blue Compound with a Microfiber Cutting Pad, it will remove or significantly weaken the ceramic coating in that area. Try the least aggressive method of just polishing the area with the White Foam Pad and white Polish to try to remove the swirl marks, since this would remove the least amount of the ceramic coating. You would still want to reapply the ceramic coating to the pillars afterward. B-pillar plastic is very soft, so when washing them, make sure to only move your wash pad or drying towel in straight lines over them. Make sure to clean the wash pad out on the grit guard before washing the pillars to reduce any chance of scratching.
