This was a surprise concert arranged for Aurora. She did not know that this was going to happen at all. She was picked up in the morning by a camera crew and the program host without knowing what the day would bring. You should watch the whole show it is captivating and you learn more about Aurora ❤

Hi again @Adam Straughan actually you could do a reaction while watching and edit it as you like. There are several song performances in the complete show so you could deliver part 1, part 2 etc. I have not seen anyone do that.

Aurora's ability to convey emotions...... is simply mind blowing, she is cathartic..... she is THE artist .... that ....sears into my heart....she brings me to tears regularly..... all her recordings are really , really enchanting, she has perfect pitch..... her messages are soooo meaningful and overarching. Her unique performances are addictive. Some of her other masterpieces are Runaway, The Murder's song, warrior, Conquer... but quite frankly, In the 30 or so songs of Auroras I regularly listen to. They are all truly , truely great. Studio and live are pitch perfect taking me on a journey...and she has some amazing soulful sometimes soulful, mournful delicate... other times cathartic and rhythmic like The Seed...her musicians and backing harmonies in her band are insanely good. Her sister designed her clothes. In her most recent song everything she wore she repurposed and made. The feathers the dancers held were borrowed. Aurora is living the change she wants to see........ I respect her greatly ( I am 56 ).

@@AdamStraughan yes, however they likely couldn't talk much :) of course they all loved Aurora tho, I mean it's obvious right that she is a very sweet human being? Needless to say the production team/people working on the show all love her haha. It's really such a beautifully made show, and like you said, well thought out. For me, seeing my friend post about being a part of this back when it aired in Norway was the first time I've ever heard of Aurora. I think shes really great, and it's very nice to see people like her represent Scandinavian music.

One of my favourite songs, the native American Indian proverb is just SO apt for the planet now. Just so so moving. She's just other wordly. Cannot wait to catch her live. So, I was watching the HAIK documentary and then this song came up. And I was like - wha-...?! This is... oh my god! And I have no one to talk to, see my cat is no very enthusiastic about my music choices, even if she sometimes makes some music with it... but I guess I needed to share my astonishment and amazement with someone - and I found this reaction of yours. I just can not get enough..... the chorus was the 'Hopi Prophecy' This song was ELECTRIC and TRANSCENDING live at her show in Australia... the venue tremmered as the whole auditorium shaked in time to the chorus...I will never forget! The audience at the end cheered and everyone hugged each other ...something so very special occurred in that moment, she opened a portal of love! I've never seen or felt anything like this at a live show.... of the thousands I have been too! Aurora is GOD Sent and an Earth Warrior Prophet!

I always recommend through the eyes of a child, the stripped version from vevo. Even if you don't react to it, just closing your eyes while just listening to it, it is an experience. As good and genuine this performance was, at the very beginning that you said gonna try 'The Seed' live I thought: NOOOO! Listen to the studio version, watch the amazing Music Video she made for it... This was a great performance because of the surprise chore band and the energy of the trees and the People and the Seed she's literally planting in all their minds... But do check the original video for the amazing inter-cut footage of protests and lightnings and the epic sound effects and also the amazing production value... I promise that will raise your spirit on a whole other step...

une suggestion : "Infections Of A Different Kind" quand elle est seule en scène au piano et qui est la chanson préférée de la chanteuse et ma préférée avec "The seed"... dont il faut voir le clip versions "director's cut" ou la mienne "sans images d'archive" (ses producteurs ont ajouté plein d'images sur ses danses pour que le message soit plus clair mais et surtout moins fort). Il faut aussi voir les concerts où elle est entourée de ses danseuses par exemple à "La Cigale" à Paris malgré la mauvaise qualités des vidéos de fans, notamment "Queendom" et "Running with the Wolves" où elle termine en "louve alpha" au milieu de sa meute de louves/danseuses. Translate : a suggestion: "Infections Of A Different Kind" when she is alone on stage at the piano and which is the singer's favorite song and my favorite with "The seed"... of which you have to see the clip "director's cut" versions or mine "without archive images" (its producers added lots of images which hide his dances so that the message is clearer but above all less strong). This HAIK concert was the climax of a TV programme on Norwegian National Broadcasting where Aurora had her day planned out for her in advance without knowing what was going to happen to her. This concert is taking place in the woods where Aurora used to play as a kid, and the choir was the last surprise of the day. The entire HAIK programme and concert are on KZfaq with english subs.

I second that suggestion, incredible performance in front of a full concert hall filled with 'celebrities', and televised worldwide. And she was 18.

I am from Sweden, she is My Queen of the North. (Haik is when you go out in forest, camping etc). And yes, she did not know about the Q, that is why she is smiling :-)

Okay if you love Katatonia and Aurora like I do, do you also know about the French black metal/shoegaze band Alcest? You should totally listen to/react to their song "Kodama": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f7eji9GdyamolYk.html I would DIE if Aurora ever did a collab with Alcest, I think it would be a match made in heaven.

Great reaction! You should definately react to every performance in this Haik-concert. «Infections of a different kind», «All is soft inside», «The river», «Daydreamer», «Runaway» ... Its a must see! Haik in Norwegians means the same as in english «hitch-hike» (picked up by a car by the road) cause the concept of this Tv-documentary is that the host picks up different Norwegian artists in her car, outside their homes, and drive them through their home city and surprises them with different things along the way (to give something back since the artists have given so much to their fans). At the end of each program the artist is having a concert in a place and setting they dont know in advance. You are right that Aurora didnt know the choir joined in (it was one of the surprises). Aurora loves nature, animals, insects and the earth so the place they had set up this concert was very fitting since its the forest Aurora had spent a lot of time in growing up. You should watch the Haik documentary also cause its great!
