She does! Sadly, she wields it too many times in Tifa's face, knowing Tifa also likes Cloud. They sadly never did get to have that girl chat about boys, but my guess is that Aerith would've probably staked her claim openly regarding Cloud. And Tifa, the admitted people-pleaser and not wanting to risk losing two friends...would probably stand aside and let her have him. Damn, that breaks my heart 😂. Especially as ai feel neither of them should be wasting their time on Cloud and would make a much better ship together, lol. They have a lot of moments that feels like them being just a little bit more than friends.

Others perhaps maintain their distance even if touching and pushing, in a way they know or feel he’s powerful and not to be really pushed around or trespassed, but Sephiroth goes beyond his limits because he can. He’s more powerful at that moment and goes beyond just the physical limits into his mind and memories. Creepy indeed.
