(This video is mostly spoiler-free for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with the exception of a clearly-marked section toward the video's end)
Watching the new Black Panther film got me thinking about the various ways Marvel projects adapting T'Challa and Wakanda had used the character and his homeland in their narratives. In this video, we're taking a look at all the major adaptations of Black Panther from comic-book to screen, and determining just what it is about the MCU's take on this corner of the Marvel Universe that works so well. (Hint: the answer is in the thumbnail!)
P.S. I missed out the 2010 motion comic series because it isn't so much an original adaptation of the character as it is a direct visualisation of a then-recent limited comic-book series.
