@@lemonon7149 Harness? Have you never seen the interior of a Bobcat? Let me answer that for you… NO! Because if you had, you would know that the safety bar has to be pulled down in front of you in order for you to even be able to start them, much less move them. Oh let me explain… the Safety Bar is a padded bar attached to the inside of the cab on either side of the operator (towards the rear of the cage) when you pull it down, it clicks into place simultaneously releasing all the safety mechanisms for the controls, allowing you to start the machine. Harness… Sheesh SMH 🤦

@@mikejurek7299 Have you ever worked on a real job site? Let me answer that for you… NO! If you had worked in the field you’d know that a large percentage of crews disable the safety lock out features from laziness or just convenience. I can’t remember the last time I got on a forklift that didn’t have a cut seatbelt with just the buckle permanently attached to the receptacle. All this guy in the video is doing is showing off for clicks because idiots think doing stuff the hard/dangerous way makes you look “cool”. Sheesh! SMH 🤦‍♂️

@@lemonon7149Or you damage the engine from having all the oil in the sump drain away from the pick up tube while you’re running your PTO at max RPMs to lift the entire vehicle off the ground. Also he’s trashing all the hydraulics by loading them in a way they’re not designed for. And all of this to save $300 on ramps.

He meant a low or tilt trailer etc. Loading on that dropsode is just like loading onto a small truck, so he's right and people who know about heavy equipment and transport will immediately get it. 'Trailer' in this case means the right trailer , one that wouldn't necessitate the acrobatics to load .

Actually, most of the little ones don't. I've worked on some really nice ones that had it and was surprised to see it. Actually, I had to replace many hydraulic pumps and engines because of Maneuvers like this.

A dry sump system in a bobcat machine uses an external reservoir to store oil, which is then pumped to lubricate the engine. This setup allows for better oil control and prevents oil starvation during extreme maneuvers, like tipping forward and driving in reverse to load the machine onto a trailer. When the machine tilts, a traditional wet sump system might experience oil pooling in one area, leading to engine damage due to inadequate lubrication. In contrast, the dry sump system's external reservoir ensures a steady supply of oil even when the machine is at an angle, reducing the risk of engine damage during maneuvers.

@@paulsimms1449I watched a reefer engine run on its side for a while after a semi rolled over across the highway ahead of me. it was kinda funny. it would scream away burning it's own oil then the revs would come down to a "put... put... put..." and I thought ok it's finally gonna die... but no. then it revved up like crazy again. did that for like 3 minutes, rev way up then slowly idle down over and over. some crazy mofo was between the back of the cab and the front of the trailer with the access doors open trying to kill it. no way I was getting anywhere near that thing. it eventually just put putted itself to death finally. would have loved to video it but myself and other bystanders were trying to get the two drivers out through the windshield in their t-shirts and flip flops in December. The co driver had been asleep in the bunk while the driver was also asleep while driving. one of them had a gash on his head and the other guys finger was kinda dangling but they were alive

I do mechanic work at a farm at night where the owner did this. The oil light came on and instead of setting the rear back down, he thought hed load it quick enough to where it wouldnt cause damage. Only a couple hours of use after that, he called me and said the engine started making noise. Sure enough it spun a rod bearing. If you dont have a dry sump oiling system, DONT do this.
@Faolan161
@Faolan161 11 ай бұрын
When the rods come a knockin, they're there to tell you they needed oil some time ago, and if you don't adhere, they will come right out and shut you down... Dude's got skills, but no engine appreciates being starved of oil by being tipped on end for more than a few seconds ...
