The bracket at 3:13 that you said "doesn't go anywhere" 🙄is a brake and clutch perch mount. Not all bikes have the same perch mount but it's still a usable bracket.

@@MJTechChannel how tall are you? Im 5'11" and the factory seat is almost perfect... except I gotta retorque my seat screws... rolling the bike out this morning backwards the seat slid out of its clip on the front lol

Just to let you know I collected my MT800 yesterday and the dealer lowered the bike for me through the suspension by 30mm big big difference for me as I m just over 5ft 8

Doesn't really help you, but new 800MT Explore comes with touch screen display and CarPlay. Not sure about AndroidAuto

It only has CarPlay for now but I remember Africa Twin 2020 came with Apple first and then added Android Auto later with an update. CF MOto can do sth similar.

Does it sound better on direct connection from smartphone to intercom or is it the same sound quality via Emit mode through gps?
