This is a very great tutorial, but Im having a problem where right after register/login , then it stops running (if there is an account), If I delete all the auth account in firebase, then the apps would run fine again until I register a new account, did anyone know why?

I tried to copy the video by typing it all i got Authentication failed always I also tried to copy and paste the code to my files (i changed the names) it still says "Authentication failed" any help?

well i figured it out just make sure your password is atleaast 6 ccharacters if its below 6 characters it will always show Authentication failed

I followed the entire video and when i ran the app after clicking register button it don't go to main activity. The authentication in firebase is added but in the database it did not add. Can you make a tutorial why this is happening?

I think you did not change the database rules to enable read/write

I suppose that you followed the entire video at least. Add "task.getException().getMessage()" to the toast to understand what's wrong. So update the toast as follows: Toast.makeText(RegisterActivity.this, "Registration failed: " + task.getException().getMessage(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

Yo tambien tube el problema de que no cargaba despues de darle al botón de register y finalmente lo solucioné volviendo a descargar el archivo google-services.json y haciendo rebuild project, aunque en internet hay otras 5 o 6 soluciones distintas por si esta no va

Thank you very much very good tutorial, but we need implement implementation platform('com.google.firebase:firebase-bom:30.3.0') implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-auth' if we dont implement these we get this error : "Failed to get FirebaseDatabase instance: Specify DatabaseURL within FirebaseApp or from your getInstance() call." if anyone facing an issue on it won't go to the main page after login/register, or if the authentication worked fine but not stored to the databse, try to add this dependencies in ur build.gradle/app. implementation platform('com.google.firebase:firebase-bom:26.3.0') implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-database-ktx'
