Will this work on a 2013 BMW X1? If so will the " i drive" still work? Also will I be able to dim the screen for night driving?

For the 2013 BMW X1 you will need the IT3-CIC, fully integrated with the iDrive knob. At night the unit has the dark mode, which dims the screen for night driving. Thanks

I had CarPlay install in my car its plug and play but only works on touch screen my skip button don’t work. I have to touch the screen for everything it’s annoying

There are some limitations in terms of usage when you integrate new technology in some vehicles. Unfortunately there is no software which will allow you to use those those comands.

Hi there... I believe that vehicle has only one screen. If that is the case we are not compatible with that setup at this moment. We are compatible only with the dual screen system.

Unfortunately we are not compatible with the 2014 models. Everything looks the same, but connections are not, behind the screen and radio.

⁠2014 is not a compatible year. Everything looks the same, but the connector responsible for video behind the screen is different. Unfortunately we don’t have anything for that year

Yes, our unit retains the factory camera while you have CarPlay on the screen. Rear camera is always a priority, so any time you place the vehicle in reverse the camera will take over the screen.

Hello Harjot, unfortunately it won't work with vehicle equipped with only one screen. In order to be compatible you need to have the dual screen.

Yes, you can mirror the phone while driving. We know for sure that KZfaq is one of the apps you can use, but keep in mind some apps block video output from the phone, like Netflix and you can't get around it.

@@Villlz Yes, you will be able to use all the audio streaming apps that you have on your phone. Audio will play through the speakers and you will be able to control it with the factory touchscreen.

The kit is $1000. We do recommend to use a professional to do the installation, since you have to add a sub board inside the monitor in order to get the touch commands to control the CarPlay. Any other questions let us know. Thanks
