I'm addicted to caffeine. I've struggled with depression for most of my life; a lot of people I knew since childhood have died. I never turned to drugs or alcohol, thank God, but an addiction is an addiction. I tried quitting multiple times, but I couldn't. It would get to the point where you'd feel like you need it just to function. What I love about this song, besides the beat, is it symbolizes addiction perfectly. Everyone who is addicted to drugs, porn, or an otherwise destructive lifestyle put on an act like they're fine and have fully embraced the addiction, like a symbiotic relationship. But in the quiet moments when they're alone, they're ashamed and hate themselves for this addiction, yet can't let go.

A drug is "a medicine or other substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body." I assume the alcohol you were consuming, and the nicotine you are consuming, both had a physiological effect? Then you were, and are, addicted to drugs. Or at least dependent. Just because tobacco and alcohol are mainstream doesn't change the fact that they're drugs. Some of the more dangerous ones, in fact. Lets demystify this by calling it what it is. When you smoke cigarettes and drink, you aren't smoking and getting drunk. You're getting high on nicotine, and getting high on alcohol.

3:18 the scenes were Angel is lying on the stage and it quickly cuts to him detoxing in a bed with Cherri next to him, are cuts from his time at Hazbin. Charlie has banned Cherri from the hotel because she is a overlord that has no intention of redemption and charlie thinks she is bad for Angels redeption. Cherri has to sneak into the Hotel to see Angel, as Angel is Cherri's only friend in hell

@@masteroftheassassins beginning of the pilot for Hazbin she is the snake overlord for turf. She even tells him to get off her turf before she breaks his machines. She also has a territory marker of her face drawn on walls and dumpsters in her area of control. It was the whole point of Killjoy explaining about hot spots or power locations and the demons fighting to control them.
