The sideview mirrors need to come with a new bottom panel with the camera built into it. The 3M taped and screwed setup is janky imo. Or build it into the glass mirror like the blind spot monitoring light. I’d rather replace the part to get a camera built into it for aesthetics.

Btw, the rear headrests fold down for an unobstructed view. Just push in the two tabs on the plastic headrest base, and pull the headrests up, and then they will lean forward, or you can completely remove them from the base. Also, if you didn't know, the back seat bottoms tilt forward and have storage compartments under them, and the seat backs also tilt forward and have storage behind them. Last, there are little pockets on the bottom of the seat back for you to insert the seatbelt bottom, to keep them from falling under the seat and to look neat. There are also clips on the rear pillars for hooking the seatbelt strap, to keep it from flapping and smacking the seat and pillar when the windows are down. If you fold the seat bottoms up first, you can lay the seatbacks flat inside them, and the seatbacks have a hard cover on the back thats heavy-duty, and perfect for a sturdy platform/table.

Excellent video! I have my heigh10 ready to install. I used a dremel to remove the fins on the mirror panel allowing the tape to sit flush. Screws work better now as well.

I had that rear view monitor / backup cam set up in my super old 2007 minivan. Now that it’s dead and I have a newer sedan, I want to install the blind spot and front cameras exactly like this.

Cool kit and all but it the mirror cameras look a little cheap with the 3M tape and screws. You couldn't make a new cover with the camera built in? Pop out the old and replace with a new one?

I would definitely file the ridges down on the mirror plates because if the cameras aren't flush there's a good chance water can seep inside the door panel.

Mirror can a 3rd camera be installed to record inside similar to blackvue 3 cam system my dash cam works love it but this makes it look factory for my highlander

This install in not for the faint of heart. The front and rear are nice but at light the side cameras are blurred by headlights and get annoying bc the screen blinds you at night. This mod can be done without the hi10
