Sometimes, I don't understand the internet. Kirk is literally one of the greatest guitarists on the planet. He should EASILY have 100k subscribers. Meanwhile, somewhere in the KZfaq universe, a random 15 year old is listening--sorry, "reacting"--to his music with a million subscribers. Unreal, man. 🙄

Itz a numbers game. Far fewer players at this level. Marty Schwartz has 4.5M subs because he caters to kids who just wanna know how to bang out the main riffs to their favorite songs.

Kirk, I took a buddy to see you perform in LA. He’s a guitarist, not familiar with your work at the time. He didn’t wanna go. I told him, this guy can make even the simplest basic melody sound so good”. I damn near dragged him there. Anyways, you and the band came out, you grabbed a tele and played like 3 simple notes to start the first song. My buddy looks at me and says “oh shit….” He’s a fan of yours now. We don’t even say your last name when talking music… just “yea man been tryna learn some Kirk stuff” lol bless you man thanks for showin us some tricks.

Yeah great post man 😎😄🙏 I love how Soulful and Spiritual that flavor is, and I also love that you're playing that SG clean for the most part! There's an edge of breakup there which is Awesome, but so many guys to me put too much overdrive on it, and don't have the stones to play it clean, and they miss what a great clean tone that you can get out of that guitar. Thanks as always man!

Kirk - Inspirational videos. Thank you. If you could find the time to share more on those chord voicings (chart?) specfically the (A and D a la Shining Star etc) and how you are fingering them. I think i’m close but I think you play the A with Middle Ring Pinky finger and my instinct is the pointer, middle ring finger… lol Anyway sorry i missed your show in my area earlier this year.
