Adding A "Practical" Miniature Witch's Potion Room to my Dollhouse

A modern witch needs a modern space to make her potions, am I right? Well another one of my favorite movies to watch in October is Practical Magic. But I think I love the house in this movie as much as I like the movie itself! So for my own dollhouse I decided to decorate the sun room and turn it into a Practical Magic Witch Conservatory, but I think it may remain for the rest of the year!

Awe that is wonderful to read! Thank you for letting me know! I can't remember if I say it in the video, but I bought the box itself at Hobby lobby and then just removed some side glass pieces and used joint compound to create the stone flooring.

I'm new to miniatures =O) Bought my first little kit last week and I've been changing everything in it, lol. and loving the whole process! As a little girl I remember making a room for myself in the closet cause it was cute and tiny! I never owned a doll house but boy did I ever want one!! BTW,I suspect that Tiny Whitney used one of her conservatory potions to shrink down small enough to enjoy the dollhouse gnome village. Sooo teeny tiny🥰

Mudlarks find things of interest,more than value,although the Roman tile is probably worth a few hundred to a specialized collector. The old clay pipes are fairly common and only have value if they are totally unbroken,or have an unusual design. I have a friend who found a mid 19th century pipe in the shape of a woman sitting on a chambe pot!! Also,you’ll be happy to know,a common find are very old dollhouse plates and teacups and such!! I wish I had found some of those,they paid so much attention to detail in the 18th and 19th century.

I tried doing that with my airdry polymer on a pencil ✏ to make tiny mugs but it was a complete fail stuck on the pencil so I'm going to try using talcum powder next time see if that works better . Do u have any tips that might work? X

mine came right off, but I think using the powder is a great idea.
