A 2018 stelvio ti sport im looking at has a window sticker that doesnt have neither Apple Car Play/ Android Auto nor Prewired listed... it has the 3D nav option... then, doesnt it mean tbat it has Apple Car Play/Android Auto?

Hi Ron I really appreciate your work. I have a question I have a qualifying 2018 Giulia for the Apple CarPlay but am having a hard time finding a dealership in NY to do it for me. Do you think that if I took it to Daytona they would be able to install it for me?

While an iPhone oder Android phone is plugged in via USB or even the traditional way via Bluetooth: Is there a cellular antenna with the Giulia? Maybe even a cellular signal booster pad anywhere like the Audi Phone Box? Or does the phone, in the worst case even hidden in the box underneath the armrest, struggle to find service?

I’m trying to buy a 2018 Giulia from St Lois and I live in Colorado my question is do all 2018 Giulia Ti have Apple Car play compatible because the sells man told me only the ones manufacturer after December do come with it but the ones before December don’t. He hasn’t told me what month it was manufactured or if it’s compatible. Please let me know if you know thanks man. Great videos all the time.

27 on the back-end. Nothing that needs to be wired but all software stuff that the tech does.

Ron my Guilua TI 2018 has it on the sticker... it is manufactured 10/17 and it doesn't seem to work when I plug it in. Did they forget to add the software package? Maybe they printed the sticker wrong because it doesn't say pre-wired it says Android Auto.... Apple play.

Same here I have 18 Stelvio manufactured 10/17. There is a 3rd party device that we can add but the cost is $500 coming from Italy. How I can do a software upgrade ?

@@ozziedogru2098 I went to the dealer and they tested it and it worked... they said my Samsung international phone was the problem or cable. So I tried my Motorola and it worked! So if it says it on sticker it has it.

No unfortunately none of the 2018 Stelvio models got an upgrade.

my car is 10/17 but it said apple car play was installed on the sticker. however, apple car play does not come on.

Does it say "pre-wired" for Apple Car Play? If so you would have to take it to your nearest dealership to get it installed.

@@RonsRides no it did not. the dealer said they could install the wires and software. but they are stuck at the software part. so i am waiting to see what happens.

Thats insane. I would go somewhere else! Its a 27 step software update. You shouldn't have to replace the whole head unit.

If your Giulia is a 2018 is is prewired you should be good to go.

Hi Rons , I have Giulia 02/17 if i update the Software do i get carplay and android auto or is not enough ?! my current Version : MV-002.007.036 TV-002.007.036
