Adding Button Lights to a NEW International LT!

We recently took on a big and exciting project - adding button lights to several brand new International LT trucks! Since there is not a production stainless light bar to replace the fiberglass fairings, we just cut holes in the fairings instead. Mike, Sidney, and Jeff will show you all of the steps to do this type of project.
Time Stamps:
Skip drilling holes in panels - 3:17
Skip tying up excess wire and adding heat-shrink butt connectors - 6:38
Skip prepping the truck for added wire - 8:50
Skip to the finished panels! - 12:20

What type of grommet do you use for thin metal.. installing lights on air cleaner...I have the 11 hole button light ones...but the grommet are too long ..can't get a solid and snug fit

Where can I buy the clips you have on the back of the panel to hold the wires up

I have a Cascadia and 10 of those marker lights...do they have to be wired on a separate relay and switch?

We recommend booking them up on a separate switch. Any time you add new lights to a Cascadia it’s best to do so - otherwise the computer wigs out.

What would it cost to wire up all the factory lights on a 579 from amber to green lights

That one is tricky to estimate. Trux doesn’t manufacture replacements for some of those original lights (yet). Come by sometime and let us take a look at it! We can get a better idea of what will need to be done.

That's a 3/4" carbide tipped hole cutter. We get ours from Fastenal - their part # is 3199415.

If wanted to install just the marker lights without it being a turn signal.as well how does one do so?.

This particular light has three wires, so you could dead end the third wire. Or use a light that only has two wires to begin with.

@@empirechromeshopI bought new lights that have a green aux color. How do I run that to the dash to use it?

We run an extra hot wire to a spare switch in the dash. We haven’t done an in-depth video for it, but if you call our installation techs they can explain it really well.

@@empirechromeshop Like it ! Plus that way. The cars can say they did not see your turn single. Then you can say. All 24 of them ?? I think those are going on my truck this year ! So T can say that. Just one question. A chrome bezel not stainless. ? How long till salt flakes them ? Plus Thanks !!
