There was a single week where Metro was on their best behavior keeping the trains safe. That was when Taylor Swift was in town. Other than that metro is a mess.

It's improved significantly since the beginning of the year. I noticed improvements ever since they opined the Regional Connector.

They're doing more of it lately. They didn't do it during Covid however.

I am a 38 yo guy and I am scared of metro... I love public transportation and would love to leave my car alone and use trains daily, but with all of that crap what it has, no way. The other day I was coming back from Universal City and saw a guy smoking something. He was not even trying to hide it. Fix homelessness, crimes, and god knows what else, and ppl will start using it.

That's already happening. Things have improved. Ive taken the E, A, and D Lines and haven't had any problems. I saw both ambassadors and LA Metro security on various platforms.

Homeless people are the most precious citizens of Gov. US. They are getting free everything: clothes, money /ea. , full medical, voucher hotel, free rent room, and more.

The trains in this vid for the C Line are replacement cars for the P3010s on the C line and not P3010s themselves. Seems C Line P3010s are really getting rarer

1209 replaced 1142 and 1210 replaced 1143. 1154 was replaced by another 1200.

Was on the expo line to wla at 8pm with much riders when 4 lapd cops came aboard at crenshaw station asking for tap cards to be shown. Seen this erratically on red line. At north hollywood red line station at 3 pm the train conductor announced for all to leave then doors shut in cars for cleaning crews. Sporadic shows of monitoring depending on rider volume. Turnstiles jumpers and homeless or crazies get on trains at empty stations.😮 The buses have the drivers that can shut doors to problem types at stops.

Yeah imagine if they found a way to actually prevent jumpers from getting onto trains, not sure what they use down there, but up here in SF they have what's basically thigh high plastic triangles everyone jumps over it even if there is a station agent looking at them, no one does shit. Now imagine if all the homeless just disappeared from the trains, imagine all the jumpers disappeared (or at least start having to pay) to ride the trains. Trains would be cleaner, they'd have more money coming, and because of the clean up they might actually attract more riders.

The world is growing , less guidance, people have more addictions, more emotional/psychiatric problems and are homeless!!! But California and especially Los Angeles being a major city has a'lot of homelessness, it's just the world that we live in !!

They got rid of the police and introduced Ambassadors. All the so called "ambassadors" do is talk to each other and get paid more than an actual metro driver. BRING BACK LAPD, LBPD, AND THE SHERRIFFS.

All the busses are also homeless hotels, people sleeping with piles of their crap, and crawling with bugs. The stench is enough to make me swear off public trans forever. "STOP REQUESTED PLEASE USE REAR EXITS....WATCH YOUR STEP WHILE EXITING THE BUS..." TIMES one hundred million repeats.

It's been addressed for 2 decade's, it's apparently time to actually do something about it! LA Metro, you don't tolerate this nonsense on the Metrolink. Let's see which ride cost's more per ride, which one cost's an eye popping amount for a monthly pass? Yeah, we know you know!!!

I'VE HAD TO STOP RIDING THE METRO COMPLETELY! IT''S TOO SCARY, DANGEROUS AND FILTHY.AND THE POLICE DON'T HELP, EVEN IF YOU FIND ONE. GOVERNMENT ONLY TALKS BUT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE PROBLEM. SOMETHING REALLY HORRIBLE WILL HAPPEN BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE TO IMPROVE THE SITUATION.
