Something Different Lyrics
Girl you make me loco
you play me like lotto
all you want is my dough dough
I even buy you moto
oh no
olo
you say you want it low low
but why you leave go go
see now I am solo
oh no
it coulda been something different
you say you want money baby o
we could be loving my honey
kissing and cuddling
live in miami
we coulda been something different o
you say no money no honey o
you should be walking beside me
morning and evening
girl why you running o
I don taya for play play
think say na you go hold me down
Je kin ba e lo sile
with you I want to settle down
you sweet like me soda
high me like lager
cool it down
oh my beautiful lady
why you wanting to wanting to let me down
all my niggas dem be mocking me
Now I guess the joke is on me
it’s unfair baby
it’s unfair baby
girl wey I want no dey fuck with me
everytime she dey do corny
See I swear baby
oh I swear baby
Girl you make me loco
you play me like lotto
all you want is my dough dough
I even buy you moto (Biggi moto)
oh no
olo
you say you want it low low
but why you leave go go
see now I am solo
oh no
it coulda been something different
you say you want money baby o
we could be loving my honey
kissing and cuddling
live in miami
we coulda been something different o
you say no money no honey o
you should be walking beside me
morning and evening
girl why you running

@@kuldoxy5637 very few succeed with local LANGs. Also swahili (diamond's language of preference) has much bigger speakers & reputation than actually most local african languages. Look at S.A/Congolese music despite it's continental popularity, there's reason why it just 'stays their' unlike afrobeat which has gone far out of the continent. Also note, pple tend to love Diamond music ONLY and not Tanzanian music style YET much more pple love nigerian afrobeat - irrespective of who is singing.

Nigeria is going to rule African music scene for centuries, they just started and one thing about Nigerians is the widespread pidgin English widely spoken all over the country. They find is so easy to compose melodious and catchy songs plus good beats from talented producers all over the country.

@@vincentnwankwo1611 you're stupid, imagine a Yoruba claiming that adekunle is Yoruba in front of a Hausa who are Nigerians, what will you say about this shit? This singer is an African because kinship in Africa is not limited to the country we are, a Nigerian Yoruba can have parents in Benin or Togo. So ultimately that makes him an African before he belongs to a country that was created by the colonizers to better divide us

Ian wachuka you are so wrong, those are the harts the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria put on.... Its a cultural thing and its mostly been used by the Yoruba Kings or by any Yoruba Royal subject. And Adekunle is a prince that's why you will always find him putting on all this kind of harts in his music. "Ade" means Crown. So any Yoruba who is royal must have Ade attached to his name.

Believe me Nigerians are also blessed in the following areas: Medicine, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, etc., you name it, we got it. My hope is that we can take it to the highest level so that we can apply it to develop Nigeria. We can match western world. Other Africans are blessed as well. Someday soon, we are get together to make Africa great! Adekunle is cool. I wish him and his wife (Simi) more success in life. May God bless Africa.

Few corrections. Google states *"Oh low",* but the way he stresses the vowels he's actually saying *'Olo'* ...shortened Yoruba form of *'Olo mi'* or *'Ololufe mi',* (means my love). Then *"I don tire for play play".* *"All my **#iggas** have been mocking me"*
