This major expansion and refurbishment of the existing Adelaide Airport terminal has significantly increased its size to support forecast passenger growth over the next 10 years. Works included expanding the international inbound passenger processing and baggage claim facility, international arrivals duty free and passenger and immigration facilities, retail tenancies, and the international gate lounge and duty-free areas. Delivery also included a new retail concourse with passenger facilities and amenities, and provision for Virgin Australia and other international airline lounges. The project was named a finalist in the Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Awards 2022, for Contractor Excellence.
