Sounds more like early 80’s to me, like 1981, I know my 80’s music, I was in my 20’s the entire decade. Very cool! I remember she did this on Solid Gold! Love the breakdown @2:39!

Oh gawd... this takes me back... Summer 1987... Underage in the club in Miami, tearing up the dance floor coked out of my mind, hooking up with random nameless bimbos... That was the life. It seemed like it would never end. I kinda like her daughter's cover that just came out.
