@@yazan80 Well, I can only speak on the fat handle as it's what I own. Handle diameter =30mm(1.2"). I believe it's only about .5lb heavier as a result. Know that it will require greater grip component as a result. it's thicker than standard pull up bar handles.

Should I buy the Arch fat handle, because honestly I don't want to buy both a club and a mace.. will it be good enough..?
@thunderbolt4993 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark! So I live in the UK & have spoken to Adex who can ship to me (as no one in the UK or Europe do a similar club-mace with attachment weights). I was thinking of getting the adjustable arc as it bridges a gap between club & mace - do you recommend this for single hand use? I have some clubs & have made some of my own but they can’t be adjusted. Would you recommend a club or this elongated club (the Arc) for someone new-ish to club training?
@MarkWildman3 жыл бұрын
i would get the adex club first. there is going to require some interesting extra rotations in places to do mills, which should really be a prime focus in your first years of training. 1. adex club kit. 2. raw form functional mace (or am amazon.uk steel mace) 3. arc.

@@MarkWildman superb! Thank you very much for this. I’ve already noticed a surprising change in my shoulders & mobility within this first month of club training. I’m certainly not new to training but have had major shoulder issues for 20 years from a lifetime of rugby damage (but prehab / rehab neglect on my part). I’ve been doing Judo & JiuJitsu alongside this for 18 years & it’s a shame it’s taken me this long to move away from the stereotypical gym work. Still there’s always time for progression & improvement! Thank you for your videos they’re a huge help ✌🏽

I have a set of maces up to 25lbs. I also have two Origin War Clubs weighing 10.6lbs each. You think it would still be a good health invest working alternative movements as a result of purchasing the Adex Arc?

I’m not the person to ask. I have like… 50 clubs, 30 maces, and I have so many kettlebells I loose them. I love gear. So you’ll have to make your choice based on space. The money is worth it.

@@MarkWildman Does the fact that as you add weight, you add length which both add to the weight of the mace. Basically you will have a varying length handle. Is this any consideration whether to to buy fixed length maces or a kit like adex? If adex had light wieght adjustment lengths you could maintain length as you added or subtracted weight. thank you

Then make yourself some. A few trip to the scrap yard for iron. A few lbs of clay to make a crucible. A blower forge pumped into an insulated chamber to fire the crucible. A very large set of tongs to flip a crucible with 60 to 70 lbs of molten iron in. The propane to heat up the iron until it’s molten liquid. A few fire bricks. Build a few filters to screen sand to the appropriate size to make a few good molds. Wood to make the mold cases. Probably make a few molds. Get the moisture content of the sand correct of course. Then just make a few bells.
